Ooh, disregard previous post shame. I just did a Google Image search and John Legend is hot as hell. Here’s a video of him performing with MSTRKRFT at Coachella. I am not too far removed from my redneck roots to give an automatic WIN to anything that includes a smoke machine.

Eating my way through the NYTimes list of The 11 Best Foods You Aren’t Eating. Day 3: Frozen Blueberries Specified frozen! I found that odd but my friend pointed out to me that when frozen fruits often maintain more nutrients than their fresh counterparts. Since they’re frozen immediately after harvest but fresh fruit is trucked around (New Zealand apples in Oregon, WTF? We’re...

Eating my way through the NYTimes list of The 11 Best Foods You Aren’t Eating. Day 2: Dried Plums/Prunes I was actually pretty stoked about this one. When I was in college I took a marketing class wherein one of my favorite case studies was the National Prune Council’s attempts to re-brand their product to a younger audience. And that’s how the “dried plum” was born....

Eating my way through the NYTimes list of The 11 Best Foods You Aren’t Eating. Day 1: Beets Beets are one of the least intimidating items on the NYT list. I’ve had them in Russian salads and as a garnish in Cuban dishes, but since I don’t know how to make either of those things I decided to go with something a bit more familiar. I bought the steamed, chilled beets from Trader Joes...

I spent $8 on a bag of grapes, the fuck? No wonder America is fat, WE CAN’T AFFORD NOT TO BE. Follow up, I should probably not pay for groceries with a credit card anymore because it makes my money seem theoretical.
